Beautiful botanical garden featuring a nursery with native and rare plants and a special area for kids. There are picnic tables. Great for plant enthusiasts and families with small kids.

I love this place! I give it 4 stars because one suggestion that would make it even better would be to offer concessions. Kids have so much fun playing here, and after a while they get hungry. Having snacks and drinks available would make it more convenient for families and could also be a great additional source of revenue for the business. 😊

Delightful! What an oasis of natural beauty for a busy and stressed out world. As a 55 yo adult, I found the climbing structure wonderful fun. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean and well maintained.

This is a neighborhood gem! Tucked away amongst homes in the Richmond Beach neighborhood, it is a beautifully cared for sanctuary. It has a native and rare plant nursery, walkable paths, and a new accessible ramp to get you to the lower level. There are beautiful plants, trees, and shrubs, all labeled and tagged. And a lovely, polished tree root that is part nature, part sculpture, part art, and fully climbable. A stream with wetland plants, a towering canopy with native birds, and a children's garden are all found in this compact yet large feeling space. They host plant sales, as well as classes and camps. Take note that their hours vary seasonally.

A beautiful place to spend a weekend morning or afternoon. Admission is free (suggested $5 donation). I was able to stroll through all of the trails in a few hours and bought some plants from the nursery. I visited as soon as they opened. If no one is around to help you with your purchase, you can call their phone number and someone will be out shortly. This is a great place to take kids and teach them local plants, as well as to make a fairy hut in the kids section.
